Biography
I am a researcher that thrives working in the translational area between clinical and molecular biological science. I aim of generating results that can help secure a healthy life for children and families who has experienced unfavorable exposures early in life. My research focus on discovering determinants of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other non-communicable diseases, to improve prevention and treatment, and I especially focus on vulnerable and understudied populations, where research is lacking and is highly needed. My main expertise is epigenetic mechanisms in early life, and integrating epidemiological, epigenetic, bioinformatic and physiological approaches.
