Jo Iversen
Biography
Jo Iversen is a PhD-fellow in Copenhagen at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Centre for Basic Metabolic Research.
Jo has completed both a Bachelor and Master of Biochemistry at the University of Copenhagen concluding in 2020, and has experience with protein chemistry and cell signaling from her bachelor’s and master’s degree, respectively.
She previously held a research position at the Paediatric Oncology Research Laboratory at Rigshospitalet in Denmark under the direction of Professor Kjeld Schmiegelow, before joining the Environmental Epigenetics Laboratory of Professor Romain Barrés as a research assistant under the tutelage of Postdoc Lewin Barkla Small.
Jo has been associated with the GECKO Consortium since December 2022, and is primarily involved in establishment and conduct of novel research studies with a particular interest in targeted sequencing analysis and the epigenetics of male fertility.
