Biography

Marie-Charlotte is a senior postdoctoral fellow at the Molecular and Cellular Pharmacological Institute (IPMC), CNRS, Sophia-Antipolis.

She holds a joint PhD in genetics and epigenetics of male infertility from Sorbonne University (Pierre et Marie Curie University, Paris 6) and Pasteur Institute in Paris (2016). Shortly thereafter, she moved to North America to complete a first postdoc at the University of McGill in Canada, where she used multi-omics approaches to investigate the human sperm epigenome (2016-2021). In 2022, she moved back to Europe to take the head of the IPMC’s Genomics Facility where she specialized in bioinformatics analyses of third generation sequencing technologies. She joined Romain Barrès lab and GECKO consortium in 2023 to lead the GeckoTEk project.
